BaBa Foundation Around Baba
Foundation Around Baba is an organization established to invest in the economic, social and cultural development of a community living in the area around the city, Mopti, in Mali. Sustainability of these projects is a key focus and is created by:
- Encouraging and coaching people within the community to take their own initiative.
- Making micro-credit available to the local community
- Helping build a school and medical centre as well as constructing gardens.
- International cooperation and knowledge exchange of educational, agrarian (biological agriculture) and technical ideas.
- Organising conferences with Malian young people and artists.
- Organising cultural exchanges with Dutch young people and/or artists.
